Cellist Mimi Morris Kim is a member of the Fairmount String Quartet which performs and records frequently in the Philadelphia area. The quartet has a residency at the church of St. Martin’s in the Field in Chestnut Hill. She frequently performs as well with the Delaware Symphony, Riverside Symphonia and has performed on a Grammy nominated recording with the Crossing. Mimi was a member of the Ann Arbor Symphony for many years. She has a large private studio and three musical children. Mimi has a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan where she studied with Anthony Elliott as well as music degrees from Rice University and the University of Minnesota
