introduction

The Music-Fest Ensemble Performance Program offers an inspiring and collaborative weekly music experience for school students and adults in central New Jersey. We focus on the power of the group, where participants learn to listen, work together, and have a musical conversation with their peers. This collaborative environment often brings new energy to students who may feel unmotivated when practicing alone, making music fun and engaging again.

Classes are held in the beautiful Fahs Theater of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton.
50 Cherry Hill Road, Princeton, NJ 08540

Participants also have opportunities to perform in recitals, giving them a chance to share their artistry, build confidence, and deepen their musical experience.

Chamber Music Classes

Open to piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, and voice.

The chamber music class is designed for students with prior training (not for beginners).School students and adults are welcome.

Students explore classical and contemporary repertoire in small ensembles (duos, trios, quartets...) while developing technique, listening skills, and expressive performance.

The Program recently began collaborating with Collegium Musicum to give students the unique opportunity to perform in concerts with professional musicians. Through rehearsals and performances, they strengthen their ensemble skills, learn from professional artists, and are inspired by making music together.

  • Each class is 45 minutes long.
