Liudmila Ivanova
Liudmila Ivanova is an experienced harpist, holding over 25 years of international experience. She has a Master’s degree in Harp Performance from the St.Petersburg Conservatory in Russia. Her primary teacher at the Conservatory was Tatiana Tauer, one of the greatest Russian harpists of the 20th century. Mrs. Liudmila Ivanova has performed in over 4000 Symphony concerts, Opera and Ballet performances, and Solo in regular Symphony and Chamber Concerts. For seventy years she has had the privilege of performing as a Principal Harpist at the St.Petersburg Opera Theatre. For six years Mrs. Ivanova was a harpist in the Mariinsky Theatre, St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, and frequently invited as a guest artist by other orchestras of St. Petersburg. She performed in the orchestras with such known conductors as Evgeny Mravinsky, Mariss Jansons, Evgeny Svetlanov, Emil Tchakarov, Yuri Temirkanov, Valery Gergiev, and many others. She has performed with theatres and orchestras in many countries including the USA, Germany, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, France, Holland, Belgium, etc. Ms.Ivanova has more than 30 years of teaching experience. Recently she has moved to New Jersey and maintains a private studio where she teaches harp and piano. She is performing solo and in the ensembles in NJ and New York.
