Galyna Rozental

Galyna Rozental was born into a family of musicians and started her classical music training at the age of five with an emphasis on piano lessons. At the age of twelve, she added flute into her musical education. Mrs. Rozental earned her Bachelor's of Music Degree (with Honors) from R. Glier Kyiv State Higher Music College and Master's of Music Degree from the National P. Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine. Galyna studied with National Artist of Ukraine Professor O. Kudryashov (flute), honored artist of Ukraine Professor L. Donskaya (piano), honored artist of Ukraine Professor Y. Verhovinetz (flute), professor I. Dashak (piano).

Born in Russia and received her degrees in Ukraine, Mrs. Rozental immigrated to Germany and then to the United States, where she has a multifaceted career as a performing artist, pedagogue, and administrator.

Mrs. Rozental’s performance experience includes concerts in Zurich, Basel, Bern as a Winner of Switzerland Round Table Club Competition; she has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls in Haifa (Israel), Koblenz (Germany); in numerous venues of North America, including such renowned halls as Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall of Kaufman Hall, NY, Curtis Institute of Music, PA. She performed in the Musicale of the Greater Princeton Steinway Society.

Galyna Rozental maintains a private music studio. Her students won numerous awards in the Crescendo International competition, Russian Music competition, Golden Key International Music Festival, and passed ABRSM exams with distinction.

Mrs. Rozentals’ previous engagements include an administrative position as an extension manager of the Westminster Conservatory of Rider University, an accompanist position in the Theater and Dance Department of Princeton University, and in the American Repertory Ballet School in Princeton, NJ. Galyna Rozental is a former flutist of Kyiv Academic Municipal Orchestra (Ukraine).
